Gavin joined GSI in June 2017, having gained extensive experience in Sensor Technologies, Enterprise IT, Analytics and Cloud Delivered Solutions. He was part of the founding teams for several US owned start-ups, typically in leadership roles setting up operations in EMEA.

Mike is responsible for the design and creation of the "Ethos" Geospatial front end. Mike is the product manager, who ensures the sophisticated work carried out by the data scientist teams and super compute facility is delivered as easy to use solutions to our customers.

Matt Tyburski

Matt is an interdisciplinary geospatial data scientist. Matt leads our team of data scientists helping to design and deliver projects for clients. He also originates the underlying patents and concepts behind GSI’s processing system. He has a PhD, LLM, MSc and BA. He has 10 years’ post-PhD experience originating data science concepts in the private sector as wells as leading on data science systems development at Johns Hopkins and within the US Federal Government.

Martin is an expert technical consultant in earth observation, who optimises the performance of GSI’s algorithms for each contract, ensuring process efficiency. He brings experience of space, defence and government sectors.

Alexey specialises in delivering performant and scalable data analysis for the GSI platform, as well as providing solutions to optimise GSI's data infrastructure.

Syed Kabir

Data Scientist

Syed is in our team of data scientists involving research and delivery of earth observation data analysis. Syed is also pursuing a PhD at Heriot-Watt university where he is aiming to develop an automated, computationally efficient and robust data driven modelling engine, as an alternative to the traditional 2D hydraulic models. Syed also has an MSc in Radio and Space Sciences from Sweden and an MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the UK.

Paul provides financial management, planning and operational controls to the business, based on his extensive professional experience as a Chartered Accountant specialising in early stage businesses.
