GSI appoints George Lindsay as new Chief Operating Officer

Global Surface Intelligence - GSI - the Scottish-based geospatial analytics company, is pleased to announce the appointment of George Lindsay to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.

George has previously held senior management roles in similar industries, most recently spending the last 5 years in the USA as COO of Aglytix, a major agricultural analytics software developer, pioneering the use of drones for crop analytics.


Prior to that George spent 10 years as CEO of a major packaging manufacturer in the Middle East. He has also held other senior roles and has extensive commercial experience in capital goods and FMCG businesses throughout the world.


George was appointed as a GlobalScot, a Scottish business ambassador, in 2012 by the former Scottish first minister Alex Salmond and remains active in assisting Scottish businesses expand their international operations.
